面對“入世”的嚴峻挑戰和全省紡織制衣設備更新換代高峰期的來臨，湖北紡織服裝業將充分利用“國債項目”和“雙高一優”項目的專項資金，改造和提升一大批企業的裝備水平。
湖北（武漢）國際紡織制衣機械展覽會已成功舉辦七屆，為華中地區紡織服裝業引進了大量具有國際先進水平的紡織制衣設備，為華中地區紡織服裝的結構調整起到了巨大的推動作用。展會也因此成為中國華中地區最具影響力的傳統展會之一，得到了國內外業內人士的認同。
定于2005年11月18-21日在新近落成的武漢國際會展中心舉辦的“2005年湖北（武漢）第八屆國際紡織制衣機械展覽會”由湖北省人民政府、武漢市人民政府舉辦，中國服裝協會協辦，并得到了周邊各省市紡織業同行的大力支持。相信展會將成為國內外紡織機械行業展示產品、推介品牌、洽談貿易、交流信息技術的的金秋盛會。

Located in centre China and the middle reaches of Yangtze River, Hubei (Er for short) is one of the cradles of China nationality and Chinese ancient culture. Reputed as the joint of nine provinces, the provincial capital, Wuhan is always the most important river, land and air transportation center, and an important market
for goods transaction. Hubei Wuhan Yangtze River Economic Zone is the forth pole of China economy development, as a prosperous focus for business.
Facing the challenge of WTO and the peak of the provincial textile and garment equipment update, Hubei textile and apparel industry will make full use of "the funds project" specialized capitals to improve the equipment tech-level of a batch of enterprises.
Successfully held for 6 times, the Hubei (Wuhan) International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition has introduced large amount of internationally advanced textile and garment equipment into centre China region and highly improved the structure adjustment of the industry. The exhibition also comes to be an influencing traditional exhibition, which is admitted by the professionals from both domestic and abroad.
Sponsored by Hubei provincial government and Wuhan municipal government, and co-sponsored by China Textile Industry Association, the 7th Hubei (Wuhan) International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition will open through November 18-21, 2005 in the newly constructed Wuhan International Conference and Exhibition Centre with the cordially support of the neighbour provinces. The exhibition intents to become a pageant of products exhibition, brands introduction, business negotiation and technical information exchange.
