首屆《國際紡織裝備制造業高峰論壇》已于2006年10月18日在北京成功舉行。來自中國、瑞士、荷蘭、日本、法國、德國、西班牙、意大利、瑞典、英國、土耳其、印度、中國臺灣省等紡織機械主要生產國家和地區的280多名企業家、專家、學者參加了此次論壇。
論壇圍繞全球紡織工業生產過程中的新管理、新原理、新技術、新解決方案的方面進行合作與發展為議題，為紡織工業未來發展勾畫了宏偉藍圖。
目前，此次高峰論壇的中英文雙語論文集已編制完成，論文集收集了論壇主要演講文章7篇，其他論文22篇，涉及到企業管理及棉紡機械、印染機械、毛紡機械、化纖機械等多個領域最新技術應用和未來發展方向的研討。對紡織及紡織機械生產企業具有極大的參考價值。
